Body Language de Boney James - Warner Bros. 1999
On 2/01/99, Body Language by Boney James, was released. It's CD that in few days jumped to take the number one position on all of the Contemporary
Jazz Charts, taking the place that Kenny G had occupied for more than a year.

Body Language contains nine songs, eight instrumentals and one vocal tune, "I'll Always Love You", with Shai as special guest.  The first hit from this album was "Into the Blue", an upbeat piece, that has the most moving rhythm of all the tracks on the CD and shows the energy that has produced the success of many of Boney's previous Cd'. It was written in collaboration with Leon Bisquera and counts on a piano solo  by David Torkanowsky, friend and collaborator of Boney James' for many years

Another great tune is "Boneyizm" which has an interesting duo with Rick Braun's    flugelhorn. It is a song whose title was based on the disc Baduizm from Erykah Badu, one of Boney's favorites. The intention in this song, is to describe the style that has characterized the music of Boney James through the years.

The CD cover is one of the most sensual views of the last few years and   ties in with a good part of the songs of this album, from first "Are you Ready? ", passing through "Love fest" and "Bedtime Story".

Other contributing musicians are Paul Taylor as producer,   Rohn Lawrence and Paul Jackson Jr on guitars, and Lenny Castro and Paulinho Da Costa on percussion.

Boney's previous CD, " Sweet Thing " went Gold and we didn't doubt that he could manage to surpass that goal with Body Language, because for more than a year since it's release, it is again in first place of the most important Smooth Jazz charts.
